Welcome to ThePRO User Guide. In this file, you\u2019ll find how to set up, use, and customize your brand-new WordPress theme. I hope this documentation will help you to build your next amazing website smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s get started!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Theme Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you install the theme, please make sure your hosting provider is running the following software:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>WordPress 6.0 or higher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PHP 7.4 or greater<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MySQL 5.6 or greater<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recommended PHP Limits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many issues you may encounter, such as demo content fails when importing, white screen, empty page content, theme not being saved, and other similar issues are all related to low PHP configuration limits. The solution is to increase the PHP limits. You can do this on your own, or contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase those limits to a minimum of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PHP time limit <code>(max_execution_time) 120<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PHP memory limit <code>(memory_limit) 512M<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PHP max input variable <code>(max_input_vars) 1000<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload max filesize <code>(upload_max_filesize) 30M<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can check your PHP configuration limits from your WordPress dashboard. Go to&nbsp;<strong>Tools \u2192 Site Health<\/strong>, open the&nbsp;<strong>Info<\/strong>&nbsp;tab, and expand the&nbsp;<strong>Server<\/strong>&nbsp;section. There you will find the current PHP limits set by your web hosting provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Theme installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To install our WordPress theme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to your ThemeForest account and navigate to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/themeforest.net\/downloads\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Downloads page<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the theme and download the \u201c<strong>Installable WordPress file only<\/strong>\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to <strong>WordPress dashboard \u2192 Appearance \u2192 Themes<\/strong>, and click the \u201c<strong>Add New<\/strong>\u201d button at the top.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"568\" height=\"377\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.themerec.com\/thepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/add-new-theme.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the \u201c<strong>Upload Theme<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"456\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.themerec.com\/thepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/add-themes.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-67\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the Theme File you downloaded from ThemeForest to upload, and click on <strong>Install Now<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1138\" height=\"340\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.themerec.com\/thepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/upload.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-59\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once complete, click on the \u201c<strong>Activate<\/strong>\u201d link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"779\" height=\"464\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.themerec.com\/thepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/activate.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plugins Installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you have installed and activated the theme, you will be prompted to install required plugins for all theme features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the link to <strong>\u201cBegin installing plugins\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"773\" height=\"544\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.themerec.com\/thepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/install-plugins.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-89\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check all the required plugins, select \u201c<strong>Install<\/strong>\u201d, and click the \u201c<strong>Apply<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"641\" height=\"537\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.themerec.com\/thepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/plugins-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-93\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once all plugins are installed (you should see a success message for each), return to the plugin installation page (or go to <strong>Plugins<\/strong> <strong>\u2192<\/strong> <strong>Installed Plugins<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check all the required plugins again, select \u201c<strong>Activate<\/strong>\u201d, and click the \u201c<strong>Apply<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"634\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.themerec.com\/thepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/activate-plugins.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Import Demo Content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our theme includes a simple <strong>One-click demo content import<\/strong> (pages, blog posts, etc.), which allows your site to look exactly as on the theme demo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To import demo content:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to <strong>ThePRO \u2192 Demo Import<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the demo you want to import and click on the \u201c<strong>Import<\/strong>\u201d button. The import may take some time (up to a few minutes)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1035\" height=\"657\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.themerec.com\/thepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/import-demos.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-87\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the importer has finished importing the demo content, a success message will appear, and the website will be ready for use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Theme Update<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To update our WordPress theme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to your ThemeForest account and navigate to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/themeforest.net\/downloads\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Downloads page<\/a><\/strong>. Find the theme and download the \u201c<strong>Installable WordPress file only<\/strong>\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open your WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to <strong>Appearance \u2192 Themes<\/strong>, and click the \u201c<strong>Add New<\/strong>\u201d button at the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the \u201c<strong>Upload Theme<\/strong>\u201d button and select the new Theme File you downloaded from ThemeForest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WordPress will automatically detect the existing theme and will give you the option to <strong>\u201cReplace current with uploaded\u201d<\/strong> version.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After updating the theme, navigate to <strong>Plugins<\/strong> and verify if any plugins require an update. If so, make sure to update them as well.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Child Theme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A child theme is a theme that inherits the functionality, features, and design of a parent theme. It allows you to safely modify theme files, add custom code, or extend functionality without directly editing the parent theme. This ensures that your changes are not lost when the parent theme is updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, please visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/developer.wordpress.org\/themes\/advanced-topics\/child-themes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official WordPress Child Theme Guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"trc-alert\" role=\"alert\">\u26a0\ufe0f Note: The Child Theme is specifically for developers who are willing to make changes to the critical functions and code. If you do not intend to go that far, you can always ignore this section.<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Child Theme Installation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To install ThePRO child theme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to your ThemeForest account and navigate to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/themeforest.net\/downloads\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Downloads page<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the theme and download the \u201c<strong>All files &amp; documentation<\/strong>\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unzip the downloaded Zip file, and you will see the<strong> thepro-child.zip<\/strong> file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to <strong>WordPress dashboard \u2192 Appearance \u2192 Themes<\/strong>, and click the \u201c<strong>Add New<\/strong>\u201d button at the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the \u201c<strong>Upload Theme<\/strong>\u201d button and select the <strong>thepro-child.zip<\/strong> file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once complete, click on the \u201c<strong>Activate<\/strong>\u201d link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using Child Theme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to modify any specific template file from the parent theme, simply copy that file from the parent theme into the child theme folder while keeping the same folder structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example: to modify the&nbsp;<code>single.php<\/code>&nbsp;file:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to the parent theme directory <code>\/wp-content\/themes\/thepro\/<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy <code>single.php<\/code> file<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paste the file into the child theme directory <code>\/wp-content\/themes\/thepro-child\/<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit the copied file in the child theme. WordPress will automatically use this version instead of the parent theme\u2019s file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Theme Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0<strong>Theme Customizer<\/strong>\u00a0allows you to visually manage and personalize your website in real time. You will need to purchase a recent version of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WPML<\/a>, including the String Translation and Translation Management modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/documentation\/getting-started-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Getting Started Guide<\/a>&nbsp;after installing the core WPML plugins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To initiate translation, go to&nbsp;WPML &gt; Theme and Plugin Localization.
